ZOFIA LELEK
Zofia Lelek is a contemporary painter known for her contemplative painting and art of movement. Graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She is interested in the philosophy and art of the Far East, which finds reflection in her works. She takes up the topic of consciousness in a state of meditation while the series of ink works entitled "The Contemplation of Movement" is a rendering of the calligraphy of Tai Chi gestures on paper. An important motif in her work is nature and landscape as a source of peace and inspiration. A series of her oil paintings is an attempt to convey the atmosphere of the Far East.

Interesuje siÄ™ kulturÄ… i sztukÄ… Dalekiego Wschodu, praktykuje oraz naucza Tai Chi, co znajduje wyraz w jej twórczoÅ›ci. Podejmuje temat Å›wiadomoÅ›ci w stanie medytacji. Natomiast seria prac tuszowych "Kontemplacja ruchu" stanowi zapis gestów Tai Chi na papierze. Ważnym źródÅ‚em inspiracji jest dla niej natura i pejzaż jako źródÅ‚o spokoju i kontemplacji, a cykl obrazów olejnych jest próbÄ… oddania atmosfery Dalekiego Wschodu.
Jej prace byÅ‚y prezentowane na wystawach zbiorowych: ''Cisza'' (2012), ''Gdzie jest brat Twój'' (2013), ''Dynamika – równowaga – różnorodność'' (2014) organizowanych w warszawskim Lutheraneum oraz ''Taniec w malarstwie'' (2014) w ZwiÄ…zku Polskich Artystów Plastyków.
